The Plustek SmartOffice PS286 is a compact, high-speed desktop scanning solution that effortlessly converts your paper into digital files. Despite its small size, the PS286 offers high-speed scanning at rates up to 25 Pages Per Minute in simplex or duplex mode. And with an optical resolution of 600 dpi, you can be assured of capturing the highest quality image in Black & White, Grayscale or Color. The 50-sheet automatic document accepts documents from business card to legal size and is specially designed to also feed plastic cards such as embossed insurance ID cards and driver licenses. What's more, with industry standard TWAIN and Windows® WIA drivers you can be assured of compatibility with virtually any imaging software.

 

A convenient, programmable Single-Touch function button permits users to pre-set nine customized functions for different scanning needs. For example, you can create searchable PDFs, scan to e-mail, OCR, or file documents by simply pressing a button. The SmartOffice PS286 is bundled with a powerful suite of software applications that includes Plustek DI Capture, Presto! PageManager and ImageFolio, ABBYY Fine Reader and Hotcard BizCard Finder. Advanced features such as blank page deletion, color dropout for forms, auto-crop and de-skew enhance image quality as well as overall productivity.
