3D Y/C Separation* (available only in H900)

VideoMate TV Ultra adopts NEC D64083 chipset to provide 2D Y/C separation, 3D Y/C separation, and DNR (Digital Noise Reduction). It can separation video inputs into Luminance and Chrominance from TV / Composite signal. Also, the NEC 3D Y/C separation chipset can reduce video noise from S-video signals and sharpen text and brighten the live programs.

For optimize the use of the 3D Y/C separation chip. Compro provide the unique Tweak Y/C utility to enable users to adjust all parameters on Y/C separation and noise reduction

Remote Control Power On/Off

Extend the exclusive Power Up Scheduling feature. VideoMate TV Ultra provides the more convenient features of Remote Control Power On/Off. You can use the bundled remote control to boot up or shut down your PC, just like consumer product.

You can Power On your system by press any one of the PVR, TV or FM button. And press the SLEEP key to setup sleep time or shut down your system. It's more convenient when you setting on the sofa or lying on the bed.

Power Up

Indeed, one of the most powerful features of Compro VideoMate TV Ultra is “Power Up Scheduling? which can wake up your PC from S3, S4*, and S5 mode and automatically record your favorite programs into your hard disk. By doing this, you can do video editing as well, such as cutting commercials. In short, with Power Up Scheduling, you don't have to hurry home to watch MLB World Series. You can even setup Power Up Scheduling to record “Friends?from Monday to Friday.

Picture Purifying Technology

The VideoMate  build-in the advanced high-quality silicon tuner, professional Conexant CX23418 10-bit all-in-one MPEG-2 encoder, 3D adaptive comb filter, and video/audio broadcasting decoder to provides more vivid, less noise, and sharper picture quality that outperforms standard TV sets .

 

  • Noise Removal: In some of poor quality TV cable and video sources, the video includes a lot of noise. The noise removal feature can helps to remove the noise from video source and give you a clearer video.
  • Deinterlacing: The video transmission in TV system is use interlacing, and this will has less flicker when screen is refreshed at twice the frame rate. But it will cause the bad video quality on the non-interlaced PC monitor. The Compro deinterlacing technology will fix the interlacing problem and give you a clear picture on your system.
  • Video Smoothing: When setup in the higher resolution of video (ex. 640*480) the video will appear aliasing (or jaggies). Aliasing is the stair-step effect on the edges of objects and can be extremely distracting for the PC user. The video smoothing technology provides more smoothing and nice looking video.
Timeshifting
Besides Power Up Scheduling, people can also use timeshifting through ComproPVR. Timeshifting lets you control your TV viewing like never before. You can sit down to watch your favorite sporting event and pause the live action to help yourself to an ice cold beverage from the fridge and then return to your seat without missing a moment of the show. Timeshifting temporary saves the video for a user-defined amount time from now on in your hard disk. You can roll back to the time you left the seat.
FM Radio

In addition, VideoMate TV Ultra also supports FM radio listening. As long as you connect FM antenna, which is bundled in the VideoMate TV Ultra package, to the FM connector on the bracket, you can enjoy several benefits from that: listen to the live FM radio program, and synchronized record programs.

With Compro VideoMate TV Ultra, you may consider throwing away your VCR and cassette player.
